Songshan Mountain

IMG_0359I got a chance to climb the Songshan Mountain in Dengfeng City, central China’s Henan Province, Feb. 2, 2013. The Shaolin Temple at the foot of the Songshan Mountain is where Buddhism and Kungfu originated in China. In order to go through the process of climbing the mountain, we took about 4 hours from the foot of the Mountain to its top without any vehicle. It’s really cool when we arrived at the top of the Mountain. I love this mountain climbing and the joyful feeling with the exhaustion.

Trip to Taiyuan

My supervisor and I traveled to Taiyuan to attend the 25th Chinese Control and Decision Conference(CCDC). CCDC is an annual international conference. Its purpose is to create a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present the latest advancement in Control, Decision, Automation, Robotics and Emerging Technologies. We have a paper on the conference. The conference was applicable. There were many famous foreign professors, who came from the US, Italy, Canada and so on. I learned a lot about the conference.
I also met a lot of friends. They are excellent and friendly. We went to Taiyuan’s museum and library to know about the native culture together. The below picture was took at the Fenhe River (in Shanxi Province), which is the second largest subsidiary of the Yellow River. The Chinese dragon on the river is quite huge. IMG_20120525_104859
